List of Services

Aesthetics

Aesthetic Medicine comprises all medical procedures that are aimed at improving the physical appearance and satisfaction of the patient, using non-invasive to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. The Aesthetic Medicine specialty is not confined to dermatologists and plastic surgeons as doctors of all specialties seek to offer services to address their patient’s aesthetic needs and desires. Some Aesthetic Medicine procedures are performed under local anesthesia while some procedures don’t require anesthetics at all.

Allergy Elimination

Millions of people suffer from seasonal and perennial (year round) allergies, and the bad news is that more people will become allergic as our environment becomes more polluted and unhealthy. The conventional medical approach to allergy treatment ranges from over-the-counter and prescription nasal and oral anti-allergy medications, to immunotherapy (allergy shots) with weekly to bimonthly injections. Unfortunately medical therapy has the potential for side effects, and in the case of allergy shots, requires routine visits to the allergist’s office — and they don’t always work.

Anti-Aging

Anti-aging is an evolving branch of medical science and applied medicine. It treats the underlying causes of aging and aims at alleviating any age related ailment. Its goal is to extend the healthy lifespan of humans having youthful characteristics.

Conventional and alternative medical disciplines are used in an integrated approach to achieve the best possible result for the patient. It is a holistic discipline, seeing the patient as a whole and not as someone having an isolated disease.

Biofeedback Scans

Biomagnetism or Biomagnetic Pair — BMP™ is a revolutionary, scientific and therapeutic approach to wellness that differs from traditional medicine, homeopathy, herbs and natural therapies. It is perfectly compatible with any other traditional or alternative modality. It is an internationally practiced health approach that strives to attain bio-energetic balance in the human body; the state of natural health known as “homeostasis”. It involves the precise and proper (North/South polarity) placement of special high field strength magnets over very specific areas of the body, to support regulation of pH in these very areas. By maintaining adequate pH, homeostasis may be reestablished so that the body can heal itself.

Cancer Care

Cancer Care is a unique independent charity dedicated to helping families affected by cancer and other potentially life limiting conditions.

Delivered by qualified and experienced staff, Cancer Care’s wide range of professional therapy services are designed to help individuals and their families come to terms with and manage the challenges of a serious health condition and include: Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Alexander Technique, Aromatherapy Massage, Group Activities, Support Groups and a Children and Young People’s Service.

Colon Hydrotherapy

There are toxins pretty much everywhere and, unfortunately, many wind up finding their way into our bodies. Our food, water, and environment all harbor these harmful bacteria and can cause unpleasant symptoms such as gastrointestinal distress. While our digestive system is equipped to expel these toxins, colon hydrotherapy can help with natural process and improve the function of your colon, especially if you suffer from digestive issues.

Colon hydrotherapy is also commonly referred to as colonic irrigation or colon cleansing. And yes, it’s similar to an enema, but uses more liquid. Also, colon hydrotherapy can use special herbs, enzymes, or probiotics to boost the medicinal properties.

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial Osteopathy is a subtle form of osteopathic treatment that uses very gentle pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body. It is called ‘cranial’ because treatment often involves the head, although other parts of the body such as the spine and tailbone can also be involved.

Cranial Osteopathy is suitable for all ages and many conditions. As it is an extremely gentle treatment it is even suitable for newborn babies and the very elderly. In adults it maybe used in the treatment of a variety of problems including head and face pain, stress, malaise, fatigue and general ill health. In babies it is especially effective for treating the effects of a difficult birth, irritability, feeding difficulties and disturbed sleep patterns.

Energy Medicine

There are so many studies about energy fields, auras and qi, that there are volumes and volumes of books published about the evidence. What we know is that through special types of equipment, we can visualize energy fields and through different experiments, we have seen that it can be very effective and can also produce many effects.

As far as energy healing is concerned, scientists have discovered that it is very real and very effective. Energy healing has been proven to be so effective that it is even used in major hospitals and health facilities around the world. Clearing, re-energizing, empowering, balancing and calming your energy field is a really powerful, proven path to healing.

Detox

Detoxification, is the removal of metallic toxic substances from the body. In conventional medicine, detoxification can also be achieved artificially by techniques such as dialysis and (in a very limited number of cases) chelation therapy. There is a firm scientific base in evidence-based medicine for this type of detoxification. Many alternative medicine practitioners promote various other types of detoxification such as “diet detoxification”.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a safe, gentle, and natural system of healing that works with your body to relieve symptoms, restore itself, and improve your overall health. It is extremely safe to use, even with very small children and pets, has none of the side effects of many traditional medications, is very affordable, is made from natural substances, and is FDA regulated.

It is used to treat acute illnesses, like colds, ear infections, migraines, and sore throats, as well as chronic conditions, like asthma, depression, autism, and arthritis.

Hormone Replacement

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT), also known as menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) or postmenopausal hormone therapy (PHT, PMHT), is a form of hormone therapy which is used to treat symptoms associated with menopause in women. These symptoms can include hot flashes, vaginal atrophy and dryness, and bone loss, among others, and are caused by diminished levels of sex hormones in the menopausal period. The main hormonal medications used in HRT for menopausal symptoms are estrogens and progestogens. A progestogen is usually used in combination with an estrogen in women with intact uteruses because unopposed estrogen therapy is associated with endometrial hyperplasia and cancer and progestogens prevent these risks. Androgens, like testosterone, are sometimes used in HRT as well. HRT medications are available in various forms and for use by a variety of different routes of administration.

Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to create heat. This type of sauna is sometimes called a far-infrared sauna — “far” describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. A traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body. An infrared sauna heats your body directly without warming the air around you.

The appeal of saunas in general is that they cause reactions similar to those elicited by moderate exercise, such as vigorous sweating and increased heart rate. An infrared sauna produces these results at lower temperatures than does a regular sauna, which makes it accessible to people who can’t tolerate the heat of a conventional sauna.

IV Medicine

Although there are different ways one can receive micronutrients, providing these nutrients intravenously (IV) may be the most effective way of overcoming nutritional deficiency. IV administration provides direct delivery to the bloodstream, bypassing any obstacles in the digestive system that may prevent patients from getting the necessary nutrients.

IV nutrition therapy, which includes the administration of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other essential micronutrients by intravenous infusion1, are designed to enhance the regeneration aspects of medicine and to repair damages that may have occurred to the biological processes of the body.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human or non-human body movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, biomechanical, and psychological dynamic principles and mechanisms of movement. Applications of kinesiology to human health include biomechanics and orthopedics; strength and conditioning; sport psychology; methods of rehabilitation, such as physical and occupational therapy; and sport and exercise. Studies of human and animal motion include measures from motion tracking systems, electrophysiology of muscle and brain activity, various methods for monitoring physiological function, and other behavioral and cognitive research techniques.

Life Coaching

Life coaching is a widely misunderstood approach. By some considered a modern form of counselling, by others an expensive agony aunt and by many a bi-product of American’s attitude to chasing the proverbial dream. The truth couldn’t be more different. Life coaching has grown to be a hugely successful form of talking therapy, to the extent that it has helped turn people’s lives around.

Live Blood Cell

Live blood cell analysis is carried out by placing a drop of blood from the patient’s fingertip on a microscope slide under a glass cover slip to keep it from drying out. The slide is then viewed at high magnification with a dark-field microscope that forwards the image to a television monitor. Both practitioner and patient can then see the blood cells, which appear as dark bodies outlined in white. The practitioner may take Polaroid photographs of the television picture or may videotape the procedure for himself and/or the patient. The results are then used as a basis for prescribing supplements. The procedure is also called live cell analysis, dark-field video analysis, nutritional blood analysis, vital hematology, biocytonics, and several other names.

Medical Acupuncture

Medical acupuncture is acupuncture that has been successfully incorporated into medical or allied health practices in Western countries. It is derived from Asian and European sources, and is practiced in both pure and hybrid forms. Therapeutic insertion of solid needles in various combinations and patterns is the foundation of medical acupuncture. The choice of needle patterns can be based on traditional principles such as encouraging the flow of qi, a subtle vivifying energy, through classically described acupuncture channels, modern concepts such as recruiting neuroanatomical activities in segmental distributions, or a combination of these two principles. The adaptability of classical and hybrid acupuncture approaches in Western medical environments is the key to their clinical success and popular appeal.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate. Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)

Osteopathic Medicine

Osteopathic medicine provides all of the benefits of modern medicine including prescription drugs, surgery, and the use of technology to diagnose disease and evaluate injury. It also offers the added benefit of hands-on diagnosis and treatment through a system of treatment known as osteopathic manipulative medicine. Osteopathic medicine emphasizes helping each person achieve a high level of wellness by focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.

Sexual Health

O-SHOT Who doesn’t want to have a more orgasmic sex life? For some women, dryness, incontinence or other issues, have made the idea of reaching orgasm a long-gone dream. Thankfully the O-Shot can bring back that spark. After extracting the PRP the doctor will make two injections, one near the clitoris and the second inside the upper area of the vagina. The procedures takes about 30 minutes.

P-SHOT
For the millions of men struggling with sexual dysfunction, the Priapus Shot (P-Shot) is a great option. Once their blood has been drawn and the PRP separated, an injection is made in the penis. After that a penis pump is used for 15 minutes. This procedure, which also takes about 30 minutes, should help men achieve better and longer-lasting erections.

ZYTO/EVOX

The EVOX facilitates a process called Perception Reframing. Perception is the way you feel and think about something. Because we perceive more than we are aware of, perception is more often ‘felt’ rather than ‘thought about.’ EVOX uses the voice (VOX is Latin for voice) to map perception about specific topics like health, relationships, work or athletic performance; any aspect of life. It then analyses that map, called a Perception Index, and creates a playback information packet that the body uses to bring perception to the level of awareness and allow it to be reframed. EVOX is used to improve every aspect of human performance.
