How does the
 Vampire Facelift work?​

A vampire facial, also known as Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy (PRP), uses your own blood to help promote the healthy activity of your skin cells. Take it this way: recycling the blood initiates a healing response that repairs damaged blood vessels and cells.

The process starts with an initial blood draw performed by a doctor. Natural platelets will be extracted using an advanced microneedling device. Your blood is then run through a centrifuge to isolate the plasma which contains platelets together with growth factors.

This is then re-injected into your face, releasing proteins for growth once in contact with the body’s tissues. The first step is the application of a miniscule amount of injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler (like Restylane or Juvederm). This adds youthful volume to the face, and structures it for the platelet rich plasma injection.

Blood is drawn from the patient and placed into a centrifuge where it is spun at an incredibly high speed. The centrifuge is able to separate the blood cells from the platelet rich plasma (PRP) which contains natural growth factors. The PRP is then injected into facial tissue so that it can stimulate the growth of new, healthier and younger tissue (stem cells, collagen and blood vessels).
